This Veg Frankie recipe is a Indian recipe. It can be served as a snack, breakfast or a light dinner.
Ingredients For Tortillas -Take one bowl wheat flour.
-Add some ajwain(carom seeds), salt & ghee in the flour.
-Mix into dough using water as needed & keep it aside for 10 min.
Ingredients For making Stuffing: -Take some grated carrot,cabbage,shimla mirch(capsicum), panner(Indian cottage cheese), sweet corn, onion.
-Heat a pan ,add some oil to it.
-Fry all vegetables for 2-3 min then sprinkle some water on vegetables & cover it for while.
-Now add salt,red chilli powder,chat masala, tomato sauce (about 2 tsp).
-Mix well all vegetables. cook till it is dry mixture.
Making Tortillas and assembling Veg Frankie -Take wheat dough & prepare thin rotis from it. -half fry it(cook) on non stick tava(girdle).
-when roti is cool, stuff some vegetable mixture in it and add some coriander leaves on it.
-Now fold the roti from two sides & close it with maida paste & also close other sides of roti. give it a square shape.
-now take some butter & shallow fry the sealed roti on the tava till it turns golden brown.
-When it is done remove it in a plate.
-garnish it with grated cheese & serve hot with tomato sauce & pudina chutney.
